In AS6512™ Revision A, the SAE AS-4UCS Committee will be bringing the standard into conformance with SAE AS6969™ Data Dictionary for Quantities Used in Cyber Physical Systems. AS6969™ defines quantities and their value structures, and was designed from the outset to support UCS requirements.
AS6969™ is the core of a family of dictionaries that will provide appendices for quantity domains such as vehicle kinematics. It is anticipated that as these domains are developed, AS6512™ will continue to be updated.
